This is G-SHOCK's limited model "G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary Clear Remix" series, which has pursued toughness since its birth in 1983 and will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2023.
Inspired by the reconstruction of a popular G-SHOCK model, we used clear parts to create an unprecedented sense of transparency.
The base design uses the standard digital DWE-5600.
A skeleton material LCD is used, and the circuit board of the digital model has a board pattern such as the G mark, making it a special specification to commemorate the 40th anniversary.
Furthermore, the DWE-5640RX has a band design that combines different materials such as resin and metal, symbolically expressing the evolution of G-SHOCK's materials.
The case back features the 40th logo designed by Eric Hayes, who also designed the G-SHOCK 25th, 30th, and 35th logos, and the ring and clasp are engraved with a star mark expressing "40". The specifications are appropriate for the model.
*Due to the special vapor deposition printing applied to the glass, there may be individual differences in the color gradation. Also, depending on the angle from which you view the watch, it may be difficult to see the inside of the dial.
