The first compass watch "Ref: 3510" was released in 1978, when IWC was manufacturing Porsche Design watches. This is an epoch-making model that uses a hinged two-story case made of a special hardened aluminum light alloy that is anti-magnetic and treated with PVD to ensure problem-free operation of the compass.
