Before the release of Grand Seiko, the ``Road Marvel'' was sold as a top-of-the-line model. Sales began in 1958 as the first domestically produced "luxury wristwatch" at an unprecedented price twice that of existing products. This product is a valuable early model with an engraved logo placed at the 12 o'clock position. It is an SD dial specification with indexes made of solid gold (the mark at 6 o'clock is a landmark). The dial shows some age, but there is no major damage that would spoil the atmosphere. The case is not gold plated, which is common, but an SS case is used. Although there are some slight scratches overall, it is in good condition with some markings left on the edges and back cover. The belt is equipped with a crocodile leather belt made by BAMBI.
